Still On Cloud 9: The Comeback Win I’ll Never Forget 💚💛🐎✨
This is the follow-up I’ve been dreaming of writing… Quality Stable is back, and Vuela Paloma WON. 💚💛🐎✨
Remember when I told you that one of our horses was going to step onto the track this week… and that it marked the return of our family’s Quality Stable after 26 years?
Well… it happened.
And somehow, in the most surreal, full-circle way possible… we won. 🥹💚💛
In this sport, you win and you lose — and that’s exactly why this moment hit me so hard.
Because this wasn’t just a win.
This was a comeback.
A “we’re really doing this” moment.
A chapter reopening that I honestly still can’t believe is real.
On January 15, 2026, our girl Vuela Paloma ran at Gulfstream Park and delivered in a way that felt bigger than racing.
5 furlongs in 57.57 — and she did it with so much heart.
None of this happens without the people who believe when it’s not easy.
Huge thank you to trainer Victor Barboza for making her better every single day, and Irad Ortiz Jr. for an unforgettable ride — and for finishing his hat trick with our girl. 🏆🏆🏆
But the part that stayed with me the most…
was thinking about my abuelo.
He’s not with us anymore, but I know he was there.
I know he was smiling up there watching it all unfold. 🤍🙏
Legacy is a funny thing.
It isn’t just something you inherit — it’s something you choose to carry forward, even when it feels heavy, even when it feels scary, even when it feels bigger than you.
And yesterday, it felt like we honored it in the most beautiful way.
We’re back baby. 💚💛
And this is only the beginning.
