A Different Kind of Love Story
The next generation
I know Valentine’s was yesterday… but stay with me. 🤍
I’ve never really been into Valentine’s Day. Not in a hating way — it’s just never been something I’ve given that much importance to.
For years, I’ve actually spent Valentine’s in Las Vegas with my sister at a convention for work. And honestly? I love that. Because to me, Valentine’s has always felt like it should be about celebrating love — period. Not just couples.
Friend love.
Family love.
Sister love.
The kind of love that shows up in the little things.

I’ve always hated the idea of someone feeling lonely on Valentine’s Day just because they’re single. Like… who decided this was a holiday that measures your worth based on whether you have a date?
You are not alone.
You are loved.
Just look around you.
This year was actually the first time I spent Valentine’s with my partner. We had the most relaxed dinner — nothing dramatic, nothing over the top. And we ended the night with our three crazy poodles taking up the entire bed and giving us absolutely no space. 😆
And that’s my point.
Love can be felt in so many different ways.
It can look like:
• A sister who flies to Vegas with you every year.
• A best friend who knows your coffee order.
• Parents who check in on you.
• Three dogs snoring on your pillows.
• A peaceful dinner at home.
• Or even just the quiet comfort of being okay with yourself.

If you woke up yesterday feeling lonely because you just went through a breakup…
Or because you’ve been single for a while…
Or because social media made it look like everyone else was “celebrating”…
Who cares?
You are loved in more ways than you realize.
You are blessed.
You are you — and that is more than enough.
And if you don’t have a dog…
Okay, maybe that’s the only advice I’ll give you — get a dog. 😆🤍
Because sometimes the purest love comes with paws, takes up too much space in your bed, and reminds you daily that you are someone’s whole world.
Love isn’t one day.
It’s everywhere.
And it’s already yours.
