Gal Off Duty in Las Vegas: Why The Wynn Is Always Worth It
Las Vegas has never really been my playground.
I don’t go for wild weekends or endless nights out. I go for work. Twice a year, like clockwork, for the MAGIC Convention — a few intense days of appointments, showroom visits, trend scouting, and long hours on my feet building the future of our stores.
It’s not glamorous in the way people imagine Vegas to be.
It’s early mornings.
It’s coffees on the go.
It’s outfit changes in between meetings.
It’s working, always working.
And then… there’s the Wynn.
The moment everything shifts
Wynn isn’t just a hotel. It’s an experience.
The moment you walk in, something changes. The light, the scent, the flowers, the quiet elegance — it makes you forget, even if just for a moment, that you’re there on business.
It feels calm. Intentional. Beautiful.
The rooms are some of my favorite anywhere in the world — soft neutral tones, floor-to-ceiling windows, and that iconic Wynn view of the desert meeting the city lights.
It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down… even when your schedule says otherwise.
Our ritual: Cipriani, always
No matter how busy we are, there’s one thing we never skip: Cipriani.
It’s become our tradition.
The white tablecloths.
The Bellinis.
The perfect pasta.
The familiarity.
There’s something comforting about returning to the same table, year after year. It feels grounding in the middle of such a fast-paced trip.
Classic. Timeless. Effortless.
Why the Wynn makes Vegas feel different
Vegas for me isn’t about excess.
It’s about balance.
It’s about working hard all day… and allowing yourself, even briefly, to be taken care of.
The Wynn does that effortlessly.
Even if it’s just two nights. Even if it’s just dinners between meetings. Even if it’s waking up early the next morning to do it all over again.
It reminds me that luxury isn’t about how long you stay.
It’s about how you feel while you’re there.
And at the Wynn, you always feel taken care of.

If you asked me where I stay in Vegas — it will always be the Wynn.
Even if I’m only there to work.
Because if you have to work… you might as well do it beautifully.
